What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. It lets the site recognise your device on a later page or a later visit. Why we use them
We use cookies to keep the site working, to remember the cookie choice you made so we do not have to ask again on every page, to understand which pages are actually read, and to measure whether our own advertising brings people here who go on to contact us.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function and to record your cookie preference. These are set on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating the site and cannot be switched off — without them we cannot remember that you declined the others.
Analytics
Tells us how many people visit, which pages they read, how they arrived and where they leave. We use this to improve the site. Set only with your consent.
Advertising
Set by Google, Meta and TikTok. They measure whether someone who saw or clicked one of our advertisements went on to contact us, and allow us to show relevant advertisements to people who have visited this site. Set only with your consent.
Until you accept, only strictly necessary cookies are placed. Analytics and advertising scripts are not loaded at all — not loaded and blocked, but not loaded.

Your consent and how to change it
On your first visit we show a banner asking whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. You can accept all, reject all but the strictly necessary ones, or choose by category. Rejecting does not limit your access to any part of the site.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops any further collection; it does not undo processing that already lawfully took place, and you may also want to clear existing cookies in your browser.
We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we add a cookie in a new category.
Managing cookies in your browser

Opting out at the platform level

Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the cookies on the site change. The version and effective date at the top show the current edition. If we introduce a cookie in a category you have not consented to, we will ask you again before setting it.
